Our Future Leaders Holiday Programme follows the ASDAN-certified course structure, offering engaging and rewarding activities that develop essential skills through hands-on leadership experiences. This programme helps students cultivate leadership, personal, social, and work-related skills, empowering them to understand themselves and explore different leadership styles. By engaging in interactive activities, they will gain insights into their strengths, develop an awareness of their leadership potential, and refine their ability to lead effectively. Through practical exercises and reflective learning, students will acquire and apply key leadership techniques, assess their own performance, and support others in their leadership journey. This experience will equip them with the confidence and skills needed to lead with impact in various settings.

Tailored made Holiday Camp by Ritz

Our holiday camps are designed to be fully tailored to the needs of schools and students, ensuring an enriching and engaging experience that aligns with their interests and learning objectives. Whether the focus is on academic enrichment, cultural exploration, leadership development, or outdoor adventure, we customize every aspect of the program to suit the specific requirements of each group. By working closely with schools, we ensure that activities are age-appropriate, educationally valuable, and aligned with students’ abilities and aspirations. This personalized approach allows students to gain new skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Curriculum

The holiday camp will include lessons (15 hrs) of the following topics

Students will engage in a series of carefully designed, interactive activities to develop a deeper understanding of their strengths and areas for growth as leaders. They will identify key personal traits and how these influence their leadership approach. Additionally, they will explore various leadership styles and personalities through comprehensive research, case studies, and real-world observations, gaining insight into what makes an effective leader in different situations. Beyond leadership theory, students will also focus on essential soft skills, such as trust-building, respect, and effective communication, which are critical for inspiring and guiding others. Through team challenges, debates and discussions, and problem-solving exercises, they will develop these interpersonal skills in a dynamic and engaging way, preparing them to lead with confidence, empathy, and resilience.

Guiding students in reflecting on their growth, assessing their strengths, and identifying areas for improvement. Through self-evaluation activities, discussions on real-life leadership case studies, and interactive role-playing exercises, students will analyze leadership challenges and apply key skills in practical scenarios. They will create a personal leadership roadmap, outlining their strengths, goals, and strategies for continued development. Students will have a clear understanding of their progress and actionable steps to enhance their leadership abilities in real-world situations.

This session equips experienced leaders with the skills to mentor and support newly promoted leaders, helping them navigate challenges such as imposter syndrome, team management, and decision-making. Through discussions, role-playing, and feedback exercises, leaders will learn to provide constructive guidance, active listening, and coaching techniques to build confidence in new leaders. They will practice offering encouragement, constructive feedback, and problem-solving support, ensuring a smoother transition into leadership roles. Students will have created a personal mentorship action plan, outlining key strategies to foster growth, provide regular check-ins, and empower new leaders to succeed.

The curriculum is fully customisable to meet the needs and interests of students. Topics can be added, adjusted, or removed to align with students’ learning objectives, ensuring a personalised and engaging experience. Whether focusing on specific fields, incorporating additional hands-on projects, or exploring new areas of interest, we work closely with schools and students to create a program that best supports their goals.

Exciting excursions

As part of the holiday camp experience, students will embark on exciting excursions to some of the UK’s most iconic destinations. They will explore the historic university cities of Oxford and Cambridge, where they can walk in the footsteps of great scholars, visit renowned colleges, and immerse themselves in the rich academic heritage of these world-famous institutions. In London, students will enjoy sightseeing tours that showcase the city’s most famous landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, and more. These excursions serve as examples of the enriching experiences available, and the itinerary can be tailored to suit the specific interests and needs of each group. Whether focusing on history, culture, or academic inspiration, we ensure that every excursion provides a perfect balance of education and adventure.

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided at prestigious independent boarding schools or university campuses, offering a secure and inspiring environment for learning and personal growth. All students stay in purpose-built accommodation, with the option of shared dormitories or private rooms. Dormitories typically house four to six students. Designated space is available for storing personal belongings.

Staff are available on-site 24/7 to provide support and ensure student well-being. Boys and girls are accommodated in separate houses. Spacious communal area and garden are available where students can relax, socialize, and enjoy activities during their free time.
