Tailored made Holiday Camp by Ritz

Our holiday camps are designed to be fully tailored to the needs of schools and students, ensuring an enriching and engaging experience that aligns with their interests and learning objectives. Whether the focus is on academic enrichment, cultural exploration, leadership development, or outdoor adventure, we customize every aspect of the program to suit the specific requirements of each group. By working closely with schools, we ensure that activities are age-appropriate, educationally valuable, and aligned with students’ abilities and aspirations. This personalized approach allows students to gain new skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Curriculum

The holiday camp will include lessons (15 hrs) of the following topics

Students will gain a fundamental understanding of business concepts, exploring how companies are created and operate within the entrepreneurial cycle. They will learn about business planning, innovation, and risk management, setting the foundation for understanding how ideas transform into successful enterprises. This session provides an overview of key economic principles, market needs, and the journey from concept to execution in the business world.

A key component of entrepreneurship is understanding how companies are structured and how different roles contribute to business success. Students will explore various departments within a company, with a particular focus on management and leadership roles. They will engage in a hands-on activity where they review job applications, assign roles, and build their own business teams, developing teamwork and leadership skills along the way.

Students will dive into the process of designing and developing a product, starting from ideation to prototype creation and manufacturing considerations. They will analyze cost structures, material choices, and production methods to ensure feasibility and sustainability. The session also covers business strategy, encouraging students to think about positioning, competitive advantage, and decision-making in a real-world business setting.

To bring their business ideas to life, students will learn how to create persuasive pitches and marketing strategies. They will develop presentations to attract investors, explore effective sales techniques, and understand the importance of branding and customer engagement. Additionally, they will delve into financing and final analysis, learning about revenue models, budgeting, and profitability to ensure long-term business sustainability.

Exciting excursions

As part of the holiday camp experience, students will embark on exciting excursions to some of the UK’s most iconic destinations. They will explore the historic university cities of Oxford and Cambridge, where they can walk in the footsteps of great scholars, visit renowned colleges, and immerse themselves in the rich academic heritage of these world-famous institutions. In London, students will enjoy sightseeing tours that showcase the city’s most famous landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, and more. These excursions serve as examples of the enriching experiences available, and the itinerary can be tailored to suit the specific interests and needs of each group. Whether focusing on history, culture, or academic inspiration, we ensure that every excursion provides a perfect balance of education and adventure.

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided at prestigious independent boarding schools or university campuses, offering a secure and inspiring environment for learning and personal growth. All students stay in purpose-built accommodation, with the option of shared dormitories or private rooms. Dormitories typically house four to six students. Designated space is available for storing personal belongings.

Staff are available on-site 24/7 to provide support and ensure student well-being. Boys and girls are accommodated in separate houses. Spacious communal area and garden are available where students can relax, socialize, and enjoy activities during their free time.
